The few times I've lost someone special I never fail to experience a choking, near suffocating-like sensation. A torturous feeling of something jammed tightly in my throat which I could neither swallow nor cough out. Like this person has walked out of my life and taken all the oxygen with them.
This time was no different, but one thing I learnt from my past experiences is that this feeling in time will pass. I just have to find the strength to breath once again.
